Delete your Friendground account
You can ask us to delete your account by email, even if you no longer have the app installed. You don’t need to sign in.
Email your request
Email Michael with the subject “Delete my Friendground account”. Please say how you signed in to Friendground. Don’t send passwords, sign-in codes or identity documents. We’ll work with you to verify that the account is yours before deleting it.

After we verify your request, we permanently remove your account, profile and photos, connections, invitations, statuses and replies, device registrations and personal usage analytics from our live systems. Your sessions and automatic arrival detection access are revoked. This cannot be undone.
Data we may need to keep
Necessary evidence associated with abuse reports or legal obligations may be retained separately for handling the case. We will explain any applicable exception and its duration when we respond. Backups rotate daily. Database copies are kept for seven days until the next cleanup; seven daily disk backups may contain those older copies. Under normal daily rotation, deleted data can therefore remain in restricted backups for up to 15 days. A restored copy must remain isolated unless later account deletions and blocks have been reconciled; running ordinary retention alone does not permit a return to active use.
When you’ll hear from us
We will confirm receipt, arrange account verification and tell you when deletion is complete. We normally respond within one month. If a legally permitted extension is necessary, we will explain the reason and timing within that month.
